-POWERPLAY FOR BOARDS
-PLEXIPAD & PUCK ERASER
The combination of these products is the easiest, fastest, safest and least expensive way for
rinks to remove puck and tape marks from the following:
To Clean Tempered Glass: Mix one part AWESOME to 4 parts water to reduce glass
streaking. Spray glass with Awesome Puck & Tape Mark Remover. For heavy tape and
equipment marks allow to soak for 5 minutes and then remove with PlexiPad or Puck Eraser.
Follow up with glass cleaner. For puck marks, spray with Awesome, then use glass cleaning

To Clean Acrylic Shields & Polycarbonate (including panels covering ads):
Spray or wipe area with Awesome Puck & Tape Mark Remover. Allow to soak for about 5
minutes and then scrub lightly. Some tape and equipment marks may require longer soaking
time. You may want to clean very lightly with PlexiPad and then go back over harder marks
with pre-moistened Puck Eraser. Follow up with cleaner (non-ammoniated glass cleaner)
and polish with recommended polish as desired. (Click Image to right for more photos)
Clean Goal frames & pads, Painted Block, Doors, Steel Posts & Panels,
Polyethylene Backer Panels, Vinyl Ads on Boards, Player’s Boxes & Wood*.
Spray with Awesome Puck & Tape Mark Remover and allow to soak. After 3-5 minutes, lightly

To Clean Aluminum Supports*: Spray supports and soak for at least 5 minutes. Scrub
supports with fine scrub pad (i.e. green pads) and wipe clean with paper towels. Puck
erasers can be used, but will become black from aluminum.(Click Image to right for more

Dasher Boards (Ice Side)*: We recommend combining a small amount of our
PowerPlay for Boards mixed with the Awesome Puck & Tape Mark Remover. PowerPlay is a
mildly abrasive additive that will help penetrate the heavy rubber and tape marks. Spray area
with cleaner and scrub with PlexiPads. Keeping area wet, allow boards to soak for at least 10
minutes (spraying again as needed) and then scrub clean. Puck Eraser works best (last
longer) on smooth surfaces. Use PlexiPads in rough areas (i.e. front of boxes, behind goals
etc.). Rinse with water when finished. (Click HERE for more photos)
*Always test small area before beginning cleaning.
Overly aggressive scrubbing may scratch some surfaces or remove paint.
Rubber/Vinyl gloves and protective eyewear recommended.
